AYC offers a variety of adult classes, clinics, and activities on weekends throughout the summer. Explore the harbor, learn to sail, hone your power-boating skills, and more, all in an engaging group setting led by knowledgeable AYC instructors.

JUNE
J22 Certification Day (Members only) - 6/29
AYC Members, get recertified sailing the J22s for the 2025 season! You will receive an email with a link to reserve a time once we are open for the season.
JULY
J22 Clinic: Intro to Sailing - 7/5
Learn the basics of sailing and seamanship aboard one of our J22s. No experience necessary.
Women on Waves: Powerboating - 7/12
Ladies, grab your friends and learn the basics of powerboating! Taught by our female instructors. Including but not limited to the following topics: ocean safety, boat handling, docking and navigation skills.
Parent/Child J22 Sail - 7/26
Get the family together for a sail over to Nubble with one of our instructors! No experience necessary.

Ladies, grab your friends and learn how to sail on our J22s! Taught by our female instructors, no experience necessary.
HUSKY River Tour - 8/9
Join us aboard AYC's launch boat HUSKY! Enjoy the views along York River and learn some facts about the history of York.
