By car

Getting to the club

From I-95, take Exit 7 for York/Ogunquit and follow Route 1 south. Turn left onto York Street/Route 1A and continue through York Village toward York Harbor. Just after the post office, turn right onto Simpson Lane and follow it to the waterfront.

By water

Entering York Harbor

York Harbor is navigable at all tides, though the sharp turn at nun “8” can be challenging at maximum flood. When possible, enter at slack water or against the ebb.

Approaching from sea, find the lighted red-and-white bell “YH” (43° 07.75′ N, 070° 37.05′ W) and steer between the buoys for Stage Neck Light (Fl 4s 10M), a red triangle on a small white box. Once past Harris Island ledge, round the mouth of the South Basin to enter the harbor.

AYC does not have guest moorings. The Town of York has a small number of transient moorings assigned by the harbormaster. York Harbor Marine at (207) 363-3602 or Donnell’s Marine at (207) 363-4308 may also be able to assist.
